Joy, Celebration, Achievements

How does this project center joy and celebration, or the achievements of the AAPI community?

The Localized History Project (LHP) is a New York City Council funded, youth participatory history collective housed at the Asian American/Asian Research Institute at CUNY. Our project works to uplift localized, solidarity oriented, and working class Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander histories in New York City, and support educators in bringing these stories to K-12 classrooms.
